DE-CIX Apollon next stop: UAE-IX in Dubai

As we reported earlier this year, UAE-IX, managed by datamena in partnership with DE-CIX, will upgrade to the DE-CIX Apollon technology platform. 

In the last few weeks, our network engineers have prepared everything to be ready for Dubai. In our laboratory in Frankfurt, they prepared parts of the equipment for the new platform in Dubai, uploaded software, and implemented an automated configuration.  

The equipment was brought from our office to Frankfurt airport and is now on its way to Dubai. We will keep you posted about the next steps!
