Get access to multiple cloud providers
UAE-IX provides private access to cloud service providers. This means you can connect to 50+ cloud providers via an additional VLAN on your existing access.
With the DE-CIX cloud finder, you can search for available cloud service providers, filtering for categories like IaaS or DDoS, features like self-provisioning, or certifications.
The DirectCLOUD connection can also be used to connect to other ISPs in order to use their services, e.g. IP transit, infrastructure and network capabilities.
Available service bandwidths range from 0.01 up to 10 GE.
Why you should connect to cloud providers at UAE-IX
Growth predictions for cloud services show: the market will grow more than 20% every year in the next years. No matter whether you already have your own cloud solution or not: Using UAE-IX to connect to multiple cloud service providers will broaden your cloud service portfolio and increase your profits. You even get access for your enterprise customers to niche cloud service providers.
Your customers crave flexible cloud solutions. If you can offer them a cost-effective and secure connection to a variety of cloud service providers, this will strengthen their loyalty to you.
To offer your customers access to more than one cloud service provider, you usually have to negotiate with different cloud service providers. This is time and money you can save by connecting via UAE-IX: we do the negotiations, you just add a VLAN to your access.
Accessing several cloud service providers via your existing UAE-IX access means less cross connect costs. Your return on investment will grow due to less infrastructure costs in the data centers.
By getting connected in more than one data center, you can build up redundant setups.
The connection can be available very fast. It is just a matter of configuration if you are already connected to UAE-IX.
If you are not connected yet, we can get your access to the Apollon platform and the DirectCLOUD service up and running within a few days.
